JVKom Chronicles

Joining in with Jen again for Fitness Friday :)) These last 2 months I have improved  so much and I swear its because I have these linkups and such keeping me accountable! Another + for the blogging community right?!

1. What is your favorite time of day to workout?
I like to workout early in the morning, during the weekday its the absolute worst to get up at 5am and then work all day, however once I have slept well I usually get up around 7 on Saturday and run and it is amazing!

2. What is your favorite Super Food?
Eggs... I eat an abnormal amount of eggs, but theyre so yummy and keep me from eating junk throughout the day :)

3. What are some of your fitness goals?
Right now I am topping out at 4 miles and that just about kills me. I want to keep running and learning to breath better because my next goal is to do a half marathon!

4. What is your favorite vegetable?
Is avocado a veggie or a fruit...it has a seed so its a fruit right? Well if not avocado then red bell peppers I could eat them all day long!

5. What is something fitness or health related that you’d like to work on?
Lately I have really been focusing on just my abs and running. I want to start some weight training and tone up my arms eventually.

I was getting frustrated because the scale will not budge but I then took my measurements Im down 2 inches in my waist, hips, and thighs! These jeans made me have muffin top really bad a month ago, now they fit YAY! #NSV

  1. Girl throw out the scale! Weight means nothing. Look at your measurements like you did and how your clothes are fitting. You are gaining muscle so the scale is not your friend. Let's do our first half together! We can meet in the middle :) And I didn't forget abt sending you the body glide. I'm out of town. Have a great weekend!

  2. Congrats! Don't worry about the numbers on the scale! It can be really deceiving (I've gained >8 lbs in the span of a single day), and what really matters is how you're feeling! (And noticing changes in how your clothing fits is also a great indicator. :]!)

  3. Don't pay attention to the scale; it can be super deceiving! I've gained over 8 pounds in the span of a single day, haha. So many things factor into weight. Go by how you're feeling and how your clothes are fitting! :]

  5. The scale is a lying whore!!!!! Congrats on the two inches girl!

I hate running. Hate it. I actually enjoy lifting weights, and results come so much quicker. I need to find some type of cardio that I dont loathe.

  6. Wow!! Congrats on the loss of those inches! Your abs look incredible to me. Nice to see the scale is finally complying! LOL. I love scrambled eggs. Like LOVE them. Off buffet lines at those huge eat fests? I'm all about the scrambled egg. I love that it is a good thing here! :-) Seriously, you inspire me this morning! Glad to have found you again via Jen's f5onf... made me smile and cheer!

  8. I jump on my scale daily but don't let that bother me... it's all in how you are comfortable in the clothes. With exercise comes muscle, which means weight gain, or standstill. You doing great keep up the good work.
